"Cascade" is one of the wedding invitation designs I created for Bella Figura in 2012.

Here is a custom suite with designsgirl calligraphy and purple petals throughout, even on the envelope flap, which is a lovely touch.

Baltimore couple Niki and Mike commissioned designsgirl to create a modern wedding invitation suite with calligraphy and flourishes floating off the edges of their wedding pieces.

designsgirl was so happy to see that Massachusetts bride-to-be Katie Kimbrell used designsgirl's "Cascade" wedding design and calligraphy for Katie's pretty bachelorette party invitation.

"canto" and inside weddings

The luxurious "Inside Weddings" is one of my favorite wedding magazines and when I learned that my "Canto" wedding invitation and response card were featured in the Fall 2012 issue, I was thrilled. 

The "Canto" design was created exclusively for Bella Figura and is shown with copper shine foil stamping.

I collaborated with Maura Gauthier of The Paper Guppy design studio to provide calligraphic treatments for Denver bridal client Kelly Gordon.

My "Maura" calligraphy style was done but altered to include title caps instead of all lower case lettering. The wood veneer presentation is a visual delight.

ticket invitation

Bella Figura holds an annual design contest for stationers across the globe to see what creative work comes from original Bella Figura designs.

Here, this Victrola design submitted by The Dandelion Patch in Reston, Virginia - with designsgirl's calligraphy for the bride and groom names - makes for an ultra cool ticket invitation inspired by the couple's Oregon-based venue.

I am enamored with the chevron-patterned envelope liner.

 

new eugenia "hello love" invitation

New to my "hello love" shop is "Eugenia", an invitation design named after a good friend and featuring hand-drawn flower stems and diamond pattern in a soft robin's egg blue and lavender palette.

Custom monograms and accompanying pieces are available by request.

Here is a supremely elegant version of my "Typology" design for a Save the Date announcement with rich, dark colors and beautiful patterned envelope liner. The square dimensions and rounded corners are a modern touch.

another look at the new "stella"

Tiffany Button of Bella Figura sent samples of "Stella", a font made from my new style of calligraphy. "Stella" is now a stationery font for Smock Paper- Bella Figura's sister company.
