"just married"

There is much interest for "just married" designs from my brides so I decided to begin creating sweet designs for my "hello love" shop.

Here are few of them with calligraphy and hand drawn lettering.

This "hello love" invitation called "Pintuck Daisy" is made lovely against textured handmade paper and a white porcelain flower.

Immortalized into a rubber stamp is one of my favorite mantras- "Always maintain your beautiful imagination and your exquisite humor." 

I incorporated the wording into one of my hand drawn "hello love" frames and made it into a quotable gift. Comes in a letterpress muslin drawstring pouch with "hello love" note cards.

designsgirl's "hello love" rubber stamps with decorative door pulls are such great gifts and I am pleased that they are making their way into local shops.

I work with store owners to create custom designs including calligraphic sayings and words. Part of the fun is to create the packaging for each one.

New at "hello love" is the Marlo design, bursting with a bright yellow band and mod hand drawn florets.

Like all of my "hello love" pieces, there is whimsy and a bit of quirkiness to each illustrated design.

"hello love": social belle

Personalized stationery served as the social foundation of my southern upbringing. In fact, I learned that there are two required accoutrements of every southern lady- nice luggage and social stationery.

Because of this, "hello love" offers custom paper goods like this client's casual notecard set.

The lettering is all down by hand and therefore, unique with every design.

"circles" wrapping paper

I like to put a modern spin on traditional gift wrapping so I wrapped holiday gifts with designsgirl's  "hello love circles" wrapping paper.

The bright chartreuse green and white colors look great against sparkling glitter and silver ornaments. A bright red ribbon would be beautiful, too.

From the "hello shop" coming this fall is a new notecard design called "Just a note to say" with hand drawn lettering.

You can provide your own heartfelt message but this is what came to designsgirl as she sat down to write to her beloved...

"beauregard" and buttons

With my "hello love" shop, I have invested in several cool machines and tools with which to create handmade products.

These cute pin-backed buttons were made with my commercial-grade button machine that I named "Beauregard". The 2 1/2" buttons have steel backings, not plastic, and are of high quality.

Custom designs are available for wedding or party favors, holiday packaging, name tags, and anything that comes to the imagination.
