designsgirl featured in dasherie magazine The definitive publication for calligraphers and calligraphy aficionados is Dasherie Magazine founded by Erica McPhee, who also created the online calligraphy community "The Flourish Forum". designsgirl was honored to be featured in the new summer 2105 issue now available online. It was my pleasure to be interviewed by Erica and share the history of our paths of making calligraphy our vocation and the passion we share in our creative endeavors.

wedding photo shoot on the vickers estate designsgirl, photographer Ashley Sawtelle and floral designer Tasha Frye spent a full day on the grounds of one of Colorado's most extraordinary estates for a magical photo shoot. The shoot was done to showcase the upcoming launch of our new luxurious custom curated gift box business called The Royal Box and wedding work from Tasha, Ashley and me. The enchanting 100-acre property of sprawling gardens, fountains, ponds, and swimming pools was a dreamlike setting for the day.
