introducing new kitschy regal pen and ink drawings

After receiving a fabulous pen and ink commission of the Chicago skyline for a Christmas card this year, designsgirl has been expanding her repertoire to include new pen and ink drawings for wedding invitations, wedding monograms, business logos and family crests which she describes as "kitschy regal".

Shown here are my first pen and ink commissions- a tropical wedding cartouche for a Save the Date announcement with hand drawn herons, tropical flowers and pineapples; a current logo design commission and several designs for my design library for semi-custom work.

declaration of love featuring 'Betsy' designsgirl loves to create new lettering styles and this one is named 'Betsy' to pay tribute to Betsy Marr, a dynamic lady who publishes Reign magazine with her husband Kevin. This watercolored heart and declaration of love was done for a lovely client who will be framing it and presenting it as a special gift.
