designsgirl was recently commissioned to do the wedding calligraphy for the Ayres family through the Denver stationer Merci and event planner Calluna Events of Boulder, Colorado.

l'arrangement holiday gala invitation designsgirl has talented friends and when they ask her to do fun projects with complete creative license, she gets giddy with excitement. A watercolor garland filled with berries and flowers was done based on my introduction to watercolor by way of a recent watercolor class given by the uber-talented Kristy Rice of Momental Designs. And new lettering styles were used that I am polishing for the upcoming season.

on wedding sparrow This beautiful and dreamy boudoir photo shoot, featured this past week on Wedding Sparrow, was styled and photographed by Connie Whitlock of Connie Dai Photography and Shannon Von Eschen of Shalynne Imaging. I was thrilled to create the calligraphy body art and wish to thank Shannon and Lana Frankel of Lana's Shop for including me in this special project.
