designsgirl was introduced to the remarkably talented New Hampshire designers Samantha Finegan and Whitney Swaffield of Gus & Ruby Letterpress when she was commissioned to do wedding calligraphy for several of their bridal clients as well as for magazine wedding features.

I was immediately drawn to Samantha's and Whitney's love of animals as well as their gorgeous stationery designs. Their business namesake is based on their beloved dogs Gus and Ruby and it was through their canine companions that they formed the business alliance that ultimately led to the creation of their Portsmouth stationer.

Gus & Ruby Letterpress work has been showcased in Martha Stewart Weddings magazine and other fashionable industry publications and design blogs.
