Calluna Events, based in Boulder, Colorado, is one of the country's finest wedding event planners.

It was my pleasure to contribute calligraphy for its special 10th year Marie Antoinette-themed anniversary fete and to work with some very talented artists- Elizabeth Winheld of Sweet Letterpress and Lana Frankel of Lana's Shop- who created this beautiful invitation on behalf of Calluna's Heather Dwight and Jolene Greenbaum.

hermes and kermit oliver As a Texas native, I was expecially captivated by the story of Paris, Texas resident and artist Kermit Oliver who became the first American to design one of Hermes' signature silk scarves in 1984. If was after Jean-Louis Duman of Hermes asked his friend Lawrence Marcus (of Neiman Marcus) to recommend an artist who could capture the spirit of the Southwest. Marcus suggested Oliver, and the resulting decades-long collaboration is history. from Town & Country magazine March 2014
