Nutribullets are great because, with them, you retain all of the fiber and pith of the produce compared with juicing and you do not waste food. Whatever you place into the container is what you will be drinking.
My husband and I use a Nutribullet to make a nutritious smoothie several times a week as a snack or as a meal.
To take advantage of winter's bountiful produce, I combine baby kale leaves, a few brussels sprouts, a slice of parsnip, a handful of pumpkin seeds or walnuts, red Globe grapes, one half of a grapefruit, some pomegranate seeds, a smidgeon of Stevia for sweetness and 10 ounces of water.
It is fun to create new blends of ingredients, especially with the change of seasons. The smoothie has become a staple in our meal planning and we love the energy it gives us. Cheers to good health in the new year!
