I wish to thank Smock Paper for the wonderful blog feature of designsgirl's new "Stella" calligraphy font created exclusively for Smock Paper.

pattern play no. 1 designsgirl could spend night and day creating patterns. Drawing a stroke or simple illustration and see it transformed into some beautiful yet unrecognizable from its original image is pure wonderment and joy. Here are some flower scribbles I created on my Wacom tablet and below is the pattern that came from them after playing in Adobe Illustrator. So cool.
