Paper lovers and dog lovers Whitney and Samantha, owners of Gus and Ruby Letterpress of Portsmouth, New Hampshire (named after their precious pups) asked designsgirl to provide the calligraphy for one of their bridal clients and also offered me the chance to letter envelopes to display in their beautifull store.

place cards no. 10: "pretty weeds" I love the look of natural things serving as the backdrop for place cards and table decoration. So when I go for a walk in our neighborhood, I am really out for a scavenger hunt- looking for floral treasures to use as styling props. This giant, diaphanous dandelion caught my attention and, happily, it remained intact until we returned home.
