We had a fabulous time at the Makerie art retreat in Boulder, Colorado. Founder and organizer Ali DeJohn receives effusive praise from us. It is the simple details that make something special and Ali thought of everything.

From the most delightful lunch boxes with decorative details; the Firefly handmade market; the scrumptious meals at the Dining Hall to the lodging in quaint cottages at the Colorado Chautauqua and the wonderful painting, letterpress and food styling and photography classes we attended, The Makerie is an inspirational haven for artists of all stripes.
