interlude: "the makerie"

My mom, friend Kathryn, and I are excited to be attending The Makerie retreat in April in Boulder, Colorado.

This 2-day art getaway offers the most fabulous class selections from the most fabulous artists- a pretty packaging class and letterpress studio tour by Allison Bozeman of Bird Dog Press; a painting class by Fiora Bowley; a crochet class by Jenny Doh; a food styling and photography class by Aran Goyoaga and others.

Held at the Boulder's historical Chatauqua Lodge in the foothills of the Flat Iron Mountains, the retreat sounds like a super way to learn and make art in a beautiful setting right in my backyard.
