Many times I have the privilege to work with clients more than once - calligraphy when they are planning a wedding and then design work when they start a new business soon after.

Such is the case with Debbie Harris Johnson, who asked designsgirl to create a logo for her new online furniture and accessories business called "Delilah's Haven". There were so many possibilities with an intriguing name like this.

Here are two of the logos I presented to Debbie.

"how do i love thee" One of my favorite projects was for a client whose husband traveled frequently. She purchased several blank Crane's notecard sets and asked me to design (40) different cards with the words "I Love You" so that she could place them in his suitcase each time he was away. It was so much fun. I used everything in my artist toolbox including gold leaf, Pitt brushes, music pens, paint and calligraphy. This project inspired the "Love Notes" now featured in the "hello love" shop including this "How Do I Thee" card with red envelope.
