5 green boxes

One of my favorite shops in Denver is 5 Green Boxes located in the Pearl Street district in south Denver. There are two stores within one block - one featuring clothing and one featuring cool stuff like garden accessories, upholstered chairs, decorative wares for the home and great cards and books.

This kitschy framed picture from the 5 Green Boxes clothing shop sets the perfect tone for the hip boutique and its sister store.

matilda This magical vase came from Floral Art in Venice, California. I discovered it at Oh Joy! and knew it would be the perfect addition to my studio where I have a collection of porcelain women head vases and lamps. The statuesque Matilda now joins my cadre of fashionable ladies and lends a patrician air to the studio. I feel as though I will have to behave at all times with Matilda in the room.
