Maura Gauthier, owner of The Paper Guppy, creates beautiful letterpress wedding invitations in her Denver studio. She is a fellow Bella Figura designer and we work hand-in-hand with invitation design and calligraphy for Colorado brides. cloud 9 blue Hawaii-bound bride-t0-be, Carrie Firmine, asked me to do calligraphy for her Bella Figura wedding invitation envelopes and placecards. I used a custom gouache that matched the vivid "Cloud 9" blue ink of the letterpress invitation.
