My work has been branded whimsical, joyful, and sweet.
I am sure this is complimentary but, for just a period, I would like to venture into being the artist whose work is mysterious, sultry and beguiling; to experience my own "blue" period like those old master painters- wearing a houndstooth beret, velvet stockings and dark red lipstick- flouting my wholesome image, despoiling my watercolor palette, and experiencing rebellious moments of disorganization in my studio.
Well, here is my beginning- a custom 2" x 6" tattoo for Utah resident Nicole Ledford. I don't know if one French tattoo makes, but I thank Nicole for leading me into an intoxicating moment of creative intrigue.
