As a business owner, one of the nicest things that can happen is to have clients call on you again.
It may occur within a few months or a few years as in the case of Mary Arzt of Sharp and Co. in Maryland. Mary has hired me over the course of four years to do the calligraphy for both of her nieces' weddings.
I do not know how many nieces and nephews Mary has but I hope there will be enough to pass the five year mark of client/calligrapher engagements. That would be a very nice thing.

Laura and I were tinkled "rustic chic" that one of the most fabulous wedding blogs "Rustic Weddings Chic" featured our paperswell magazine.

"Cascade" is one of the wedding invitation designs I created for Bella Figura in 2012.
Being "flowery" does not come easily to me in my work. "Cascade" is about as "florid" as I get and that is why it is one of my favorites.
This custom "Cascade" invitation looks ultra modern with my calligraphy shown in a pretty spring green.

I am a magazine hound and I seek out unconventional magazines to broaden my design perspective.
This one certainly does this with its wild fashion and art profiles and artistic advertising. The highlight is the floral typeface gracing its pages throughout.
